On Friday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath emphasized the importance of celebrating the upcoming festivals with joy and enthusiasm while ensuring public safety and convenience. This information was shared through an official statement.
During a high-level meeting, the Chief Minister provided essential directives to government and administrative officials regarding the smooth organization of festivals, cleanliness, and maintaining law and order.
The meeting saw participation from senior officials, including all divisional commissioners, district magistrates, additional police directors (zone), police commissioners, inspectors general, and deputy inspectors general via video conferencing.
In the meeting, the Chief Minister sought updates from all additional chief secretaries and principal secretaries about their departmental preparations for the festivals.
He highlighted that the state's 'Mission Shakti' program symbolizes women's safety, respect, and self-reliance. The 'Mission Shakti 5.0' initiative will commence on the first day of the Sharadiya Navratri, starting September 22, and will run for a month in phases.
Adityanath instructed all relevant departments to ensure their preparations are in place. He also proposed that to raise awareness, a bike rally led by female police personnel should be organized in every district on September 21.
